I'm pretty sure it counts in favor of it, but I could def be wrong.

It's completely unfair for a team to have Lowell. Seriously, the guy is just to good. For the fairness of baseball I feel like he should have to sit for the rest of the postseason.

Looked it up. (H+BB+HBP)/(AB+BB+SF+HBP). So it negatively affects it. Which makes sense, as OBP is mostly important in showing how often you don't make an out.
