they didn't? wtf? [/ QUOTE ] from earlier in this thread- [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] My roomate bought the new Professional NL book, so I read it and I must say that I am very dissapointed. Anyone else here read it? [/ QUOTE ] Matthew, I had debated buying it but heard that it was not very good for anyone beating small stakes and up. I'm thinking if Bobbo get's his book published it will be the only decent book on the market for midstakes+ NL. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] There is an "if" ? [/ QUOTE ] It was recently rejected by 2p2 because they've committed to too many books. (Harrington on cash which should be more then 1 volume, the PNL series which is more then 1 volume, and HU book) So I need to contact other publishers. The news was a bit upsetting obviously so the question of when certainly has been replaced with if. It's still the money favorite to get published, but no longer a sure thing. Also, I liked PNL. After reading it though, I think what I say takes for granted everything in that book, so, yeah... It's fairly basic, and preaches some weak tight play, (ignores some costs and focuses on what I think is the "wrong" thing) but is a good book. [/ QUOTE ] |

I was having a nice 9k day, despite getting hit for 2 gutshots in 5k pots, then I dump off 13k at 25/50 to a good player before I realize I've had enough. Of course he hits his all in draw for 10k while I miss mine, then I bleed off another 3k to his aggression. blehlbmkfjkdasjflkdsa
At least this bacon that I've had in the oven on 250 for the past 2 hours is about to be done soon. edit- actually I think more like 3, I dunno it looks pretty good though. |
