Really I thought that is was kinda a douchy move. Its a game that doesn't count for anything and nobody takes it seriously.

Why not just put a yellow jersey on the QBs and give the rest of the players flags you pansy?

Are people asking how does he die from getting shot in the leg serious? A high schooler probably knows there are some f*ck-off big arteries in the leg/groin and getting them hit by a bullet = bad news.

"You can't be scared of death," Taylor said. "When that times comes, it comes. I've been blessed. God looked out for me. I'm happy."

This is so sad, especially reading the comments about how he has changed his life. Hope the best for his little girl and family...

Dids,
You are a tool and obviously a very depressed man. It would be one thing if your comment on Taylor were an isolated incident, but it is not. I feel for you and hope that one day you will be able to see your actions for what they are, pathetic.

didn't read most of these but it's obvious that the intrusion about a week prior was obviously connected to his murder. people breaking into your home, then coming back a few days after and doing then same then shooting you, means you are PROBABLY involved in some shady stuff. it could be he just pissed someone off, idk. the point is, although he's clearly had some troubles in the past, it seemed like everyone close to him agreed that he was turning his life around and was heading in the right direction. this makes his death even that more tragic and saddening, imo. what confuses me about the actual incident, was why the intruder fired only twice- once missing taylor, once hitting him in the leg. obviously someone trying to murder him would have shot him again, as you can't think a leg shot would get the job done. maybe just trying to send another message but accidently murdered him? whatever the reason, still a very sad day

The sentiment here in DC is like everyone lost someone close to them. It's really crazy - I've never seen anything like this for an athlete (at least regionally). I am not a Redskins fan, so I didn't take it any differently than I would if any other celebrity/athlete died, but my roommates were devastated, and I really understand. They take time out of their schedule every Sunday to watch the Skins play and root for them hard. They care about everything they do so much that they start to feel like they know them personally. I feel very badly for Taylor's family, friends, and the Redskins, but I also feel badly for their fans as Taylor was one of, if not the most popular Redskins.

Never?

I like it when [censored] idiots try and psychoanalyze me and assign weird motivations and disorders to me.

I like it when posters I have long believed to be [censored] idiots (Tyler Durden, gobbomom, Jurollo) get their panties in a bunch because they can't seperate emotion and logic.

He was dating the daughter of someone connected. He had multiple warning to leave her alone. He was suppossed to get shot in the groin. Last week someone left a knife on his bed as a warning.

Google it. Its pretty crazy.

Sorry I posted real quick as I was at work. Another analyst at work has a brother who graduated from the FBI and we were having drinks and talking about it.

I thought this would be all over the net, but I guess not.

Taylor's girl was supposedly connected. I think she is white or mexican. Taylor was warned to stop seeing her.

Last week someone broke into his house and left a warning. This time they killed him, but mr friends brother said he wasnt supposed to die, but the leg has major arteries as well.

Its been released that the phone lines were cut that evening.

Maybe his bro was drunk and making crap up, but he seemed genuine to me.

PS. This is really going to hurt the skins pass defence.

You really have to realize that you do this ALL THE TIME. You have probably done an rj amateur psychoanalysis like 20+ times and every time i sat here thinking exactly what you just said about how ridiculous and nonsensical it was. Of course by the end you were all smug and 100% sure of yourself exactly like the people you're all pissed at now.

okay? and lots of people think youre an idiot and laugh at you when you get your panties in a bunch when you cant seperate emotion and logic. Other people arent the only ones doing bad things.

The thing that confuses me the most about this is how you could possibly be surprised at what happened. I mean like i described before. I dont think it was dumb to point out that he spit on someone, because he did. I think it was dumb to point it out to a bunch of people who cared about the guy and were upset and then act surprised and like youre the victim for them being pissed at you. just shut up about it.

Well I guess I thought you were surprised at the reaction since you have talked about how ridiculous it was like 10 times since then. tbh It seemed like a fairly logical response on their part imo.

Do you really think you're in a position to judge who is an idiot and who is not? Judging by your posts I would say....no.

"google it- its pretty crazy". No, your post is what is crazy. This isnt the Godfather. If someone was upset about Sean dating their daughter, they wouldnt wait SEVEN years (and the recent birth of their child) to do something about it. Absolutely absurd post.

By any acccount (including very reputable Washingtonians Brian Mitchell, Gregg Williams, John Thompson and many others) Sean Taylor changed rather dramatically in the past year. He was a regular in team prayer meetings, became a film study guru, and even became a vegetarian to improve his conditioning. His on-field play and role had changed as well. Taylor morphed from a head-hunter who played in the box, to a dangerous free safety and cover man, often playing 20 yards off the ball. In addition to becoming more serious about reaching his massive on-field potential, Taylor made great strides this past year in maturity and family matters. On a local radio show this afternoon, Clinton Portis went out of his way to mention that Taylor would never party with teammates, preferring to spend his off time with his fiance and daughter. Gregg Williams said his new found maturity was quickly making him one of the locker room leaders. I think Sean was well on his way to turning his personal life around, as well as becoming a very good, and complete NFL player for a long time. I view his death as a tragedy, as well as a life lesson to other players- even if you turn your life around, skeletons in your closet can come back to haunt you. Hopefully (if there is any good to come out of this), young NFL players will view his senseless death as further reason to stay well on the right side of the law.
