For the most part, I wanted to see if people felt my numbers made sense. If you're trying to be sarcastic, then why be a dick? The sheer volume needed to make these numbers at the 27s is still pretty intense, and anyone that is able to do this should be commended.

Most of them I expect.
I did a search for average buyin between $12 and $20 and at least 1000 games played.
some of these could have gone from the 6.50s to the 27s I guess.
But if the'd moved up from the $16s their average buyin would have moved outside the range.

runhot - seeing as you have to play several thousand $27 turbo tourneys, why are you mixing in $33 regular speed ones too?

Curiosity, not accusatory. Just wondering if it was done on purpose to "mix it up" - maybe playing a regular speed sng is a nice change. But it seems like a bad move, as he only has limited time to get through the many turbos he needs, and the regular speed ones take up a slot on his screen(s) for a fairly long period.

I didn't think of the auto-registration script screwing up... That seems like the most likely exp.

Good luck OP hope it turns around.

Seriously the hating is unecessary, Runhot is probably having a rough enough time as it is, without the digs. Most of us realise that these downswings in sngs are mind blowingly frustrating.

I really haven't seen much hating at all honestly. Most people in the bet have wished him luck, and have been having fun following his progress.

also, we all know how solid spacegravy is, and we all know about his 2,000 game breakeven streak. Everyone seemed to have forgotten downswings were possible for him (and obviously everyone else) now that he won the bet. How convenient.

My ROI is WELL over 13% (like more than double that) at the 16s and Im still plugging away there. I guess its kind of stupid, but I wanted to get one of those leaderboard stars on sharkscope. Ive also had pretty lousy results at the $27s, although I think a good amount of that could have been poor table selection (I played a giant set with a bunch of really nasty players, albatross77 and a couple others).

How big of a sample size do you have for the 16's? Over 26% ROI sounds ridiculous

1 tabling maybe

jmill2511 11-27-2007 06:37 PM

Re: $10k at the 27s in 1 month challenge

Yea your sample size with a 26% ROI at the 16s is probably very small, the highest I see on the leaderboard at the 16s is leadbellydan who is running at a 20% clip over 1800 games.

I've recently moved to stars and am running at 18% at the 16s over about 250 games but I think 15% is probably more reasonable as far as what I can maintain 12 tabling. I really don't think 26% is sustainable at all.

I think, but im not sure that its 476? I cant seem to get starscope to work, so im reduced to going to sharkscope and just adding up all of my 9 table SNGs with buyin $10-$20.

I think the ROI is actually just under 32% right now at this level.
