Why does NE even bother with the running game?

xorbie 11-18-2007 10:04 PM

Re: ***OFFICIAL*** New England-Buffalo Thread

How long would the field have to be for the Pats to be <50% to score a TD on any given drive? 150 yards? 200? 400?

I like Madden and all but he needs to stop rambling all the time. It's getting hard to listen to.

that journeyman show looks absolutely terrible.

2x manning commercials!

they are the american champions, not the world champions. only americans compete.

Brady = God.

Its pretty amazing, given that he is competing against 31 other people who are in the top .0000001 percent of quarterbacks, for Brady to be this much better than everyone else.

Edge34 11-18-2007 10:10 PM

Re: ***OFFICIAL*** New England-Buffalo Thread

Did Madden just take Brett Favre's junk out of his mouth to compliment Tom Brady?

Not that Brady isn't playing well, but for Madden to not include Brett Favre in a comment about "I've never seen the QB position played better" is surprising.

Meh, the entire Bills defense was looking for the run to the left. Great job selling it and a great pass followed with a great catch and run. I liked it.

Patriots = ratings! They're the biggest NFL story as long as they stay undefeated.

Really? I'd like to see the ratings for this game - especially the second half.

Manning would have better #'s than Brady w/ this O line an reciever corp. He never even get closed to touched, even on blitzes. The Pat's could put in Kerry Collins and he'd put up the same #'s w/ this system/personel IMO.
