fill up your tank w/ gas
buy some drinks at a liquor store
go online from a public computer, and purchace some item off ebay/amazon.

send the items to an address that is not yours.
make sure to check the people's mail daily as to pick up your items.

lastly, go on craigs list a few days after and say you found a card, and demand 25$ for it.

You can scame the owner by moving back in and then paying him TRIPLE the rent next month. Full proof imo.

Also, you might try to pay said rent using his card/bank account. I don't see how this plan could backfire.
