undefeated Big 12 champ should get in over any one-loss team.

I agree. I do think Oregon and LSU are the two best teams in the country, but I think an undefeated big 12 team deserves a shot in the title game. Especially considering it was a given an undefeated Big 10 team was going to get in when Big 12>>>>Big 10.

Didn't Oregon get boned by Oklahoma a few years ago? That would suck if it happened again.

Oregon boned Oklahoma with the help of the zebras.

In other words, Oregon didn't bone them at all. The refs screwed them. That was at the beginning of last year.

Off topic, but what is the order for the BCS bowls to pick the non-automatic bid teams?

In other words, say Oregon ends in the Rose bowl as the P-10 auto bid is USC more likely to play in the Fiesta/Sugar/Orange or there's no way of knowing?

I don't know a whole lot about the BCS system but I don't think USC will be in any of them after they lose to ASU on thanksgiving

For some reason, I thought this game would be next week, but its the week after. Any thoughts for this week?

[/ QUOTE ]

They'll almost certainly be at the Big House for OSU/Michigan, even with OSU losing last week. The only other nationally significant matchups are Cincy/WVU and BC/Clemson.

[/ QUOTE ]
OSU/Mich is this week, KU/Mizz is the following week. I guess that settles that.

This year, it's Orange, then Fiesta, then Sugar.

But first, the bowls that lose their team to the national championship get to pick. So Sugar would pick first to replace LSU (because they are #1). Then the Rose Bowl (if Oregon goes to the NC game) or Fiesta (if the Big 12 champ goes to the game). Then it follows the order above (Orange, Fiesta, then Sugar).

Maybe your thinking about how Cal got boned by Texas for the Rose Bowl after Mack Brown bitched about it?

And after the Big 12 refs gave Texas the win over Kansas.
