lol i got pwned by this thread so bad...i read the first few posts and deleted all my pics, erased my whole profile and deleted all my friends then deactivated my account...then clicked back on the thread and read the whole thing

im def too lazy to reactivate i still think theyll eventually sell our info so i guess im glad im out

Not a lawyer but what if as a solution to the friends posting photos/videos of you problem you clearly state that any photos etc containing you that others have taken are allowed to be used but their use is non-transferable, therefore facebook cannot put them in ads or whatever.

Yes I know that. However no one can give permission for someone else. So while any photos of me are fair game, photos of my friends shouldn't be.

Except I would assume by default they are as when you upload, you agree you have consent to do so etc...

However, if my friend only grants consent to me to display the media and declares the consent nontransferable, facebook cannot touch it.
