lol, he's a donkament player and a good one. Overpairs are the nuts for these guys. I'm sure he's got a pretty big range here including all kinds of pair+oesd hands, 2 pair, and even on occasion a complete bluff.

mcshove is one of the best MSNL players online IMO and this is an easy call

[/ QUOTE ]

Not disputing since I don't know him, but why is he calling a 3-bet with J9s?

He didn't. He raised UTG and I called PF.

It's worth a stack to set this gem up.

didn't know he played MSNL much, but knew he was good at the donkaments. Still an easy call though.

I do love to chat during and after hands. Normally I keep it very friendly and fun. I had a favorite about 4 weeks ago tho. There's a 1/2 reg that actually posts a bit here now and then who's a real moron in the PS chat. Anyway, I c/rd the flop on him in this hand. He pushed and I folded.

him: "note: will play back with air"

me: "note: I'm up $500 on you"

The reason I didn't like it is because it's painfully obvious what I have hear like 90% of the time. There are times that I will call a big pp here, but, like I said, I have a set here almost always...guess I could have 99 tho... That was my only point. Everyone in the country knows what I have here, yet he still reraises.

[/ QUOTE ]
If your flop raise here always mean a set, you should either:

A) Raise with a wider range than just sets.
B) Don't raise sets on this flop.

You don't want to play in such a way that gives away your hand. Fundamental TOP...

I hear ya. It's not so much my flop raise as it is my PF call mixed with my flop raise. And yeah, I do raise other hands here.
