Primordial, I am 100% in your shoes. I am an avid SNG player(10k plus games), however the recent lure of playing cash has struck me. I have only played for about ehh a week or so; 1/2 2/4 and up over 3k. Maybe its just cause I havent played cash in so long but loving the switch, not sure if I should continue though.....

I have found myself alot more attracted to cash recently, but I think it's prolly a bad decision for me in the long run,

What makes you think, a priori, that it's a bad decision for you in the long run? Expectations of winrates, perceptions about the type of players, etc?

just that fact that I have studied HU SNGs extensively and besides reading some books and my own poker knowledge, I have only casually watched some cardrunner vidoes, so I feel that my largest edge and game I have the most skill game (SHOULD) be HU SNG.

And indy, i've decided to stick to 2/4 NL (decision that came to me today lol), if I feel I can't handle it or the swings are too large for my tastes, I have no problem going to 1/2, or even .5 / 1, but we'll see

The key to limited hold thems is to put a man at risk for one of his chips.

I can't get my computer to save hand histories, but I found a solution: the ol' flash drive. Giddyup.

PT only minimally helps out for heads up anyway, but now I can actually know my winrates.

got this email from stars. other night after a session i noticed my balance was less than it should have been after playhing a bunch of turbo hu sngs. didn't think much of it (thought i'd made mistake calculating). then i get this email.

PokerStars has become aware of two players who were working together in
our Sit & Go tournaments to the detriment of other players. You were
involved in at least one tournament with these players and as a result
you may have been adversely affected.

The players' accounts were closed and their funds frozen pending a
thorough investigation, which is now complete. Fortunately the problem was
identified quickly and they had only played in a few tournaments
before the accounts were closed.

In a case such as this it is our policy to confiscate the colluders'
winnings or balances and to distribute them to the players affected by
their actions in as fair a way as possible. To confirm your credit, log
onto your PokerStars account, go to the 'Cashier' screen and click the
'History' button. Your share will be shown "Credit Purchase", followed
by the amount of the credit.
