If you don't wear an undershirt, chicks will be able to see your hairy chest. Believe it or not, some chicks dig guys with hairy chests. boom!

nc,

Make sure it's not dress shirt cut at the bottom, and if it is, find a new shirt to wear or wear some black slacks and tuck it. Nothing looks worse than a shirt that's meant to be tucked in but it's not.

What do you mean cut? I'm not wearing the black shirt. Going with a a red shirt. Black t-shirt underneath. I don't know if it's cut. I actually think it looks pretty good.

or just wear a black tshirt underneath.

I am really surprised that so many people are suggesting a black undershirt. I really white for the contrast.

For some reason I think white is hideous. It surprises me that I think this because I really shouldn't know better.

Don't wear an undershirt. If you feel like you have to wear something underneath, wear a black beater. Don't wear visible white undershirts. Ever.

I think the jeans may do it there, they look really cool, I wish I could see them instead of just a tiny portion. It's like, simple classy black shirt with the jeans adding some flare.

It's hard to find good pictures, but a casual button down is usually cut pretty much the same all around the bottom. There will be a tad bit more fabric on the front and back than on the sides, but not much, like so :

A dress button down is cut so there is a lot more fabric in the front and the bottom than on the sides. It's so when you move around with the shirt tucked in, your waist moving (from such things as sitting and standing) won't untuck the shirt in the front or back. I hope you can see from this pic :

That one is an exaggerated dress button down. Not all are that exaggerated but hopefully you see my point that it looks stupid to wear the second shirt untucked. Many people still do it but I hear from women all the time how sloppy it looks and there was also an article in GQ about it not too long ago.

If I didn't regularly wear an undershirt, the outer shirt would look disgusting because it would always be getting sweat-stained.
