Case in point: when I turned 15, it was at the height of the AIDS scare in this country, and Dad bought an enormous assortment of condoms and put them in the linen closet in big box. He then told my brother and me that he didn't know how many were there and didn't want to but that we should take anything we wanted if we were even thinking about having sex.

Took: 3, just in case I decided I wanted to use them. Used: 0. Mom also gave me the big speech about waiting to have sex until I was ready. That turned out to be when I fell madly in love, which didn't happen until college.

i knew you were a good girl

my dad gave me a condom when i was 14 or 15 i think. i remember being at a club at 15 years old with 3 of my buddies and we each had a condom with us and were so proud of it. We were all like "yeah we are gonna get lucky tonight" Of course none of us used it, or was really planning on using it (ok if the opportunity came up im sure i would have but as a geeky 15 year old kid the chance was slim and none)

the days of innocence.
