going into the series there were some good stories of black teddy, so i was happy to play in some ring games this year and look over and be like "yup, thats black teddy" because its hard to miss a 250 lb cedric the entertainer lookalike wearing a $25,000 watch and playing with a fortress of chips in a limit game.

i played with him a bit -- he plays solid.
likes to talk a lot, and isn't shy about berating people...he never berated the fish at our table though so he's not a complete idiot.

Teddy is definitely typical Vegas. Flashy clothes but nitty play.

he mildy berated me once too. i raise a7o and he 3bet and some clown called from the blind. flop was like 1073 monotone and checked around. turn was a q and i bet and he called. river was an ace and i bet and he agonized and called with kq then was upset i bet the turn.

his comments were as mild as they come esp considering what the vegas locals usually say to me but i guess he felt bad about it. later he came over and apologized and we did black person handshake.
