I went to hockey camp when i was about 10/11 and there were these empty rinks where the instructors set up scaffolding on one end with tennis ball shooters at the top. We dressed in full hockey gear and had to run through these rinks hiding behind tyres and boxes. It was so bad ass

I'd say less than 5% of people made it across, the event was pointless. People would swing out like 2 feet then totally stop and let the gladiator close in and then decide they needed to move.

The ring event was amazing especially because people would get absolutely WRECKED when the gladiators would knock them off.
