Having 5 players that can auto-kill the US with a vote makes them actually pretty weak. The US's best chance of dying will be through a random vote/nk.

I was considering some subplots / separate win conditions, but it's a lot of work to write up and make good/balanced, and sometimes playing a neutral role who has to do something crazy to win is not very rewarding

Yes this was intentional; the variance of the U.S.'s life expectancy can be reduced by making it 2 oil producing countries to lynch / and one lynch immunity

Most countries are vulnerable to a random nightkill, I think this is unavoidable in a game with a bunch of vigilante kills
