Rondo's jumper is clearly better. Inconsistent, maybe, but he started off the game making several consecutive shots, all looked good. If he's comfortable and confident with shooting, this team gets a lot scarier

I caught precious few Celtics games last year. Do Rondo's mechanics look better this year, or is it just that he's making more of them because no one is guarding him?

Btw, absolutely best moment of the night was in the fourth when Scal is trying to run a fast break 3 on 2 and he's gunning down the court, then makes this psuedo no-look pass to someone (maybe big baby), and just barrels through a defender. They show a reply on the Big Screen in super slow mo, and then the camera pans to Ray Allen on the bench laughing at the reply. He sees himself on the big screen and immediatly stops laughing. Hilarious.

The Knicks fan they showed taking off his jersey and throwing it away in disgust while the Boston fans around him went crazy was pretty great, too.

His form is improved. David Thorpe from ESPN and basketball trainer extraordinaire:

"Everything is different. His balance is better. His follow-through looks great. He is using the same mechanics on each shot. The pregame shot I saw looked the same as what he did in the game -- a sign that he now "owns" his new form."

Didn't the big 3 sit out the 4th quarter?

big 3 all played < 30 mins (I think KG played 22 or something ridiculous). Boston still outscored them in the 4th. Obviously guys like Scal, Powe, Baby, Pruitt, and House need to grow up and learn something about sportsmanship.

I don't really know what to say about tonight's game, so let's just move on...

Tough one tomorrow in Miami vs the well-rested Heat. I have a bad feeling about this one. C's are 3 pt favorites. Thoughts?

I have a pretty good feeling about it

Colin.

I hope you never cite David Thorpe again.

If Kevin Martin didn't pan out, he would have absolutely 0 cred. He overhypes his no talent boys like Orien Greene, and trashed Al Jefferson all last year while he was dropping 25/12s on the likes of Duncan and Camby.

Thorpe is a hack.

I think you're cherry picking. If he's a hack, how come so many pros sign up for his services?
