someone explain miguel cabrera's contract to me...?

[/ QUOTE ]

he has 2 years or arbitration eligibility then a FA in 2010. I don't know what his arb figure will be this year or how Fla intends to deal with it.

I figure they'll demand a [censored] load from anyone who wants him, naturally.

Espn just said cabrera is most likely entering his final seasons with the marlins...they're just making this up i assume... but i dunno, can the marlins even afford his arb money

i haven't read this whole thread, did you guys resign clemens yet or what?

[/ QUOTE ]

Why are you even here? Shouldn't you be doing a river dance or taking the train to Beantown for a parade?

When the Yankees were celebrating World Series victories I didn't even consider the Red Sox are how much they would always suck regardless of any appearance of success...

Congratulations and give Manny a big wet kiss for us.

Given rising revenues, 7/$175M might not be enough to land Santana.

Irony.

We have again entered Vyse-troll's "talking out my ass with no facts" zone. Cabrera is a free agent after the 2009 season.

One little linky for you.

Edit for others who care about facts and rules: You need to have six full seasons of service time. Cabrera will only have five plus after next season.

you're bad at life. dude, just STOP. It's not funny anymore.

here's a hint: this is not miguel cabrera's first year in arbitration.

here's a hint: he stills needs six full seasons of service time to be eligible for free agency. read anything on the net about it. he is not eligible until after 2009.

another hint: think before you post. No need to rush to post without thinking and checking that you are correct... some players are arbitration eligible after two plus years... like Cabrera.

Why am I bad at life when you troll these threads and post bad information? It is certainly not funny. But it is sometimes fun.

Ya see. This is how you weasel out of your mistakes. What you were implying -- incorrectly -- is that Cabrera will be a free agent after next season (2008). If that is not what you were saying, please explain why you posted this:

in response to this:

and then posted this:

in response to this:

So either you were wrong or you suck at posting as much as you suck at life.

Yeah. You were intentionally vague to trap me. More weasel or more troll? I can't be sure...

I feel like RedBean now. Simply because you interpret something as your OPINION doesn't make it FACT kid.

edit: i'll connect the dots for you now dude
