Yeah, we'll try. You may not want to lose every game though

Re: 2007 Atlanta Braves Thread: Reclaiming the NL East

"We played good baseball,"said Chipper Jones, who leads the NL with a .341 batting average. "We played the kind of baseball that people are used to us playing around here. It's just a shame. Here we are, the final two weeks of the season and we're just realizing what we can do when we're right and playing well."

Gahhhhh

Well we could be down only 3 games in the WC after tonight & we control our own destiny vs the 2nd place team(if that makes any sense). Our pitching match ups actually set up well for this series, ya never know.

Helps that the Brewers won today so they stay in the race to fight San Diego in the 4 games they play. Rocks have to play Arizona for their last 3 after 3 with the Dodgers.

Interesting...

thank you, pretty sick and sad to see the mets lately, we couldn't beat a AAA team right now, so we're better off rooting for u than to hope our team can actually do something incredible like beating the nats

Re: 2007 Atlanta Braves Thread: Reclaiming the NL East

Also, huge that the Brewers won & the Cubs lost, need the Brewers having all the motivation in the world to beat down SD.

Plus Arizona lost to keeps the pressure on them to beat down the Rockies in a few days. If the Rockies & Pads lose tonight it's going to get crazy.

Atlanta might try to sign Glavine next season.

I'm not sure how I feel about that...

I do like LA leading again though. Three run homer.

Just a little glimmer of hope to make the next few games interesting. Go go go go go

Gosh, I could only imagine what you Met fans would say if you had Adam Eaton making 30 starts for you....

By the way....Gator, in the other thread you asked about the Phillies rotation....This is the tenative, but they have bumped Kendrick and Hamels up.

Wed- Loshe
Thurs-Kendrick
Fri-Hamels
Sat-Eaton
Sun-Moyer

Yeah, that hurts. Oh well, I hadn't gotten excited yet anyways, all we can do is luckbox it anyway.

We may have a better shot to win the division than the WC in 2 days

No more Andruw. Jeff to center. Diaz every day player. Get 1 more outfielder, here we come. Please re-sign Mark. Please get some help in the starting pitching.

Re: 2007 Atlanta Braves Thread: Reclaiming the NL East

The names being mentioned are Mike Cameron and Torii Hunter. Cameron is the more likely choice since Hunter will probably be too expensive. I would prefer Hunter way more than Cameron.

Did O. Dotel ever play for us after the trade??? I didn't watch a lot of games, but I never saw him or heard his name.

Re: 2007 Atlanta Braves Thread: Reclaiming the NL East

Yeah for about a week then he went on the DL. Came back the last couple weeks of the season. Was never really a factor.

He's a good pitcher when healthy though. He's had a lot of problems the last couple years.
