December goals:

Stop being so complacent and concentrate properly. Winning overall does not excuse so many *incredibly* dumb plays.

Start using PAHud.

Build regular 1-2 hour sessions into my daily routine.

Play each session with a plan to focus special attention on and experiment with a specific type of hand.

Hit Gold VIP/30K hands.

Terrible month for $$$ ran so bad, played sososo, learnt so much. I am still alive, still fighting, lets play some more.

A late run seems to have saved christmas (wins 2 flips for stacks, loses 2/3 flip for stack, wins on 1/3 flip for stack, rest is donkey spew)

Goal for the month as 75k hands, didn't get there. Next month I plan to for sure, had a lot of distractions this month!

My December goal is to not lose money and make at least a 3.3. I'm on pace for a 3.5, but I suck at finals because everyone outstudies me. My best semester so far is a 3.0 (3 of 4 semester have been exactly 3.0 and the 4th a 2.8). My grades don't have as many swongs as my bankroll.

Also, spend some time with my sister, family, and friends from home for the last half of the month.

worst month I have ever had. started off with a 12 buyin downswing, and didnt break even till the third week. everything in the pos is from my last week of playing 16 tables. going to have to put in 120K hands in dec to clear my last milestone of the year.

Took a month long break. I was getting too angry. My Dec. goals: 10k hands, 120 hours, focus on hand reading, not get angry, $500+. Lastly, I am committed to following my plan for the whole month; I usually wane towards the middle of the month. Good Luck everyone

November was my first real month of grinding.

Achieved most or close to my goals. Also got Silver star status.

Starting on Monday moving upto $25NL 12 tabling.

- 6hrs a day 5 days a week
- 90Kish hands
- Keep improving with the PAHud stats - adding more in once I get comfortable with what I use
- Aim to get Gold star status for the following month
- Post a difficult hand every day or two
- Win enough to move upto 50NL for the start of January
- increase VP$IP &amp; PFR%

So glad it's over.... early part of the graph is 200NL 6max where I ran 13 buyins below expectation, after which I dropped down in stakes and switched to 100NL FR and recovered a good part of my losses. Add in VIP bonus/rakeback and I'm slightly in the black for the month, but not by much.

Run good
Profit

Berge - Congrats on getting back to NL100. I expect this wasn't too difficult for you given that you've been through those levels before. Apart from your bankroll management thread (great stuff), can you shed any more pearls of wisdom for some of us players trying to get from NL10/25 to NL100?

Maybe this isn't the right thread but I think it deserves one of its own. If nothing else for an incentive to others that it isn't so difficult.

Also, any chance of seeing some stats during your grind above?

Last months goals:
Move up to 25nl - Nope
30K hands - Check
Last month wasnt too bad, a played 30k hands and made well over 400 bucks....not including my two PP cashes.

This Month:
-50K hands at least
-Move up to 25NL AFTER I hit King on Party
-Get comfortable at 25nl (5ptbb/100 hands...easy to do??not sure)
-Move up to 50NL before Christmas
-Play a couple tournies

Thoughts:
If I play double the amount of hands this month and move up(10nl-&gt;25nl), I should be able to make triple of what I did last month right? Or am I being too optimistic?

I'm guessing $5K is from the 500K VPP milestone bonus. Add 2 $1.5K bonuses and that's $8K.
