I know I'm probably in the minority here, but RD is my 3rd favorite Jay-Z album. And it could possibly end up being 4th, but I'm not ranking AG yet b/c it's too new imo.

I feel ya about people being elitists when it comes to listening to rap music, but that wasn't an example of it. That list was horrible.

Commercial success definitely isn't a measure of how good an album is. By that logic Illmatic and Reasonable doubt are worse then any album that's when double platinum.

Sales are about marketing to the masses imo.

Oh and lol at calling someone a backpacker because he likes Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt etc.

Dak, just pick up some of the albums that are being listed. We all got our own opinions but I don't think you listened to a lot of the albums most people have consistantly rated highly.
