i've never had a cat that didn't instinctively use the box

actually, i used to leave my door cracked open so my cats could go in and out, and one day i come home and there is one of the neighborhood cats inside using the box, wtf?

correct answer is obviously mislynch, or perhaps Miss Lynch, if you prefer.

I can't believe no one's complained this wasn't an ultrasound photo yet. Teases.

Definitely get a male.

I assume you're planning to get it fixed. Male cats post fixing >>>>>> female cats post fixing. Females get cranky and bite a lot. Males just get lazy.

1. omg so cute!

2. 1000 sq feet is plenty for 2 cats

[/ QUOTE ]

In a 1000 square foot apartment, if your cat doesn't make it to the litter box, he is probably ill and should be taken to the vet. (Unless you're not good about scooping it out...cats are finicky about that kind of thing.)

4. If he sounds anything like the cat I had that looked that way as a kid, I'd call him Squeaky. But I'm guessing that's not poggy enough for you.

Names I like:

Thirteen
Pogglesworth (allows you to call him Pog or Worth or Worthless depending on his personality and behavior)
T.R.
AlphaCat (bonus for ease of naming BetaCat)

After seeing the cages they're kept in at the Humane Society and PetCetera, this place must be like Disneyland to them.

Re: OH and zero started a family

So here are the other sibling choices...

Rye (sister):

http://photocache.petfinder.com/foto...63143-1-pn.jpg

Bran (brother):

http://photocache.petfinder.com/foto...63136-1-pn.jpg

Raisin (sister):

http://photocache.petfinder.com/foto...63131-1-pn.jpg

We both like Raisin the best.

Zurv...I know you recommended two boys, but if we took one of each it would leave a >0 change that the other two (male/female) would stay together in the same family. No one would take both of the remaining females if we left them.

Plus, we both like Raisin the best.

Re: OH and zero started a family

We (my wife and I) have two spayed female cats and they're both mellower than the sunset. No biting whatsoever, in fact one of the two loves nothing better than to curl up on your lap on the sofa. The other one is a bit more shy.

Maybe we got lucky?

My best friend also has boy and girl siblings and the girl isn't bitchy at all.

Re: OH and zero started a family

I like Raisin and would add a ' to the original name.
Then I'd rename Mason to Foldin that way you can still get Checkin and Callin

I like Ms Lynch it's clever :P

QFT.

Both our cats came from the Humane Society. Our second one was only eight weeks old when we brought her home so she was too young to be all that aware, but our first one was 3-4 months. When we brought her home, it was like Christmas for her, she romped around the place like an 8-year-old that just got a Hot Wheels cycle.

I feel like it should be pointed out that in the real world lynches tend to have a different connotation than they do in POG.

Oh, and FYI, 2 cats will fill the kitty litter box more than twice as fast as one cat.....not quite sure how they do that....but they do.

antidan444 11-25-2007 08:32 PM

Re: OH and zero started a family

Yeah we have two litter boxes for our cats, on opposite ends of the house.

Our House 11-25-2007 08:33 PM

Re: OH and zero started a family

Is that one for each cat, or just for convenience?

antidan444 11-25-2007 08:40 PM

Re: OH and zero started a family

It's more because we have two cats, and they'd fill up one litter box so fast it was maddening to keep up with.

(Yeah, we should never have kids, LOL)
