Anyone watch the OSU-Michigan rivalry special they have on now? Any good from a sports standpoint? (I'm not a fan of either team, but like good rivalries which this hasn't been recently since Michigan has kinda sucked of late.)

I think the rivalry has been quite good lately (aside from the actual outcomes). 2004 was the only game that wasn't good since 2000, everything else has been close in one way or another (2001 featured a blowout followed by a comeback). The one thing that has been missing for a long time is a period of balance not only in gameplay but in results. The 90's were all Michigan; the 00's are all OSU so far. Nothing like the Ten Year War at 5-4-1.

Just pranked a guy at work good for the game. He is from UM. The basics of it, I send out an email every week to see who will play basketball at lunch. In the email, I put two buttons on it that will automatically reply to me letting me know if they are playing or not. Fast forward to today. I used the same email, but changed the script so that when he clicks the button, it spammed a bunch of Ohio State and Michigan people (including his wife) the following message that was sent from his email:

i've been looking at quite a few osu-michigan youtubes, surprisingly enough. i kept seeing some #13 running the ball and being in the backfield. it legitimately took me like 15 minutes to figure out who it was.

Funny you mention that. A friend of mine says he does that the morning of the game. I might go along. Not really my thing but it might nice. If nothing else I can justify getting a pre-dawn run (to and from the graveyard) in before the madness begins.

Yep. A lot of great UM O-lineman in the 90's. My favorite: Steve Everitt. Nobody was tougher. He broke his jaw against ND and was back a few weeks later. That was back when UM was able to recruit Florida. We haven't done as well in recent years.

OSU fans, I hugely recommend watching MICHIGAN-centric Youtubes. In fact, could the Michigan fans link some ones of like the Biabutuka game etc.?

This week I've tried to have a good Youtube-induced 2 minutes hate every day and it has had a tremendous effect. I haven't been able to focus on my work or anything(I have an important paper due Tuesday and I've spent a significant amount of the last two evenings making rap song bar graphs in BBV4L), but my energy level is through the roof thanks to the power of hating Michigan. I'm literally bouncing off walls just pacing in my apartment.

I'm debating buying one of those punching bags you fill with sand just to get some of the aggression out.

With Oregon losing tonight, if the 3 B12 contenders take care of business this week, one will likely go to the NC game and the other two will acquire one more loss the following two weeks and be eliminated. That leaves two teams to jump: LSU and WV. OSU is close to WVU in the BCS rankings, so they might jump WV without help, but probably not. I can't imagine a 2 loss team would play for the NC, so all OSU needs is a LSU loss and possibly a WV loss.

I don't see them passing WV without help. WV has 2 games left against teams that are ranked. I can't see the voters falling in love with OSU enough to offset the computer boost that WV would get by beating 2 solid opponents.
