Georgia Tech scored 200+ points in a game. I don't think passing was invented yet though.

I was about to say besides GT/Cumberland. That record is probably safe.

Most points in a game ever, I just remembered this, prolly the best game I watched all year.

I think it was appropriate that the first game on the BTN was their own Michigan getting smacked by App State, and now their conference's biggest game of the year can only be seen in like 5 states. The BTN is destroying the Big Ten.

Ah, and here is link with some nice stats, as well as a Nebraska score.

OSU/Michigan says hi. Wisconsin just gave the Buckeyes a minor scare. Also, if you have Dish Network, you can see the game in 50 out of 50 states, not just 5.

What effect, if any, could this have on recruiting for Big10 schools? I mean we are talking about less tv exposure. I don't think it will be much, but likely it is > zero. Thoughts?

Can't argue with the call. The way the Buckeye offense was playing , they had a better chance of converting than they did of getting the ball back without another OSU score if they punted.

greg- I'd say your on the ball there.
I see it being a problem for the top players who are looking for as much exposure throughout college as possible to help their nfl chances.

Yeah, I meant up to this date. It is still a little ridiculous that the nation gets to watch two middling .500 Big Ten teams rather than a game of national importance.

I love how this thread went from "OMG Wisconson is ahead, OSU sucks like we all knew they did, BC will be #1 next week" to talking about other games as the Buckeyes score 28 straight points.

Wisconsin was only 7-2 with an easy conference schedule so they must suck anyway, right? So this victory is meaningless like all the others.

Or maybe we were expect tOSU to pull ahead. Because they are good.

I seriously don't get how you tOSU guys have this strange inferiority complex. You are number one. You deserve it. Deal with it.

Wake drives down the field, down by one and gets a first down on the 31 with 35 seconds and one timeout left. They run the clock down and miss a 48 yd FG to lose. I guess they didn't want to risk the 3% chance they might turn the ball over by trying to get a chip shot FG. Good job Grobe.

Why did purdue accept that penalty?

So that play just reminded me of a dumb rule in college football running the clock again after a penalty at the end. I mean, how can you reward a team for holding and make the other team decline.

We're talking about the Kansas game for obvious reasons. First, KANSAS is taking NEBRASKA to the woodshed. Second, look at the score. It is completely insane.

And Kansas decides they still do want to go for 100 and scores another TD. I will go out on a limb and say that Callahan gets fired tomorrow. I have never seen a defense lay down like Nebraska's today.

Also the fumble at the goal line play reminds me of the question of why there isn't a camera on each goal line and possibly one overhead. I mean, it's a huge play ev wise and basically everyone is just guessing.

I don't think spotting Michigan St. 7 points is a great idea.

I wonder if Kansas will seriously shoot for 100? They've been abused by Nebraska for so long, I couldn't really blame them if they did.
