Re: AP thread 87.1 - waiting on the statement ITT

There was this user.... a consultant, not an employee, thats why there is no record of him...but he had intimate knowledge of the systems... and access to information of whole bunch of important people's accounts, as well as their homes, and personal computers. He might also have had access to their wives. He has travelled extensively, possibly to many countries, possibly logging into to multiple accounts in multiple countries at the same time, possibly from the account owners homes. He was able to do this while none of the accounts real owners knew that someone was making millions on their accounts, possibly from their houses, possibly while they were were home.

There ap I wrote your statement for u. oh for 1 million I'll move to Costa Rica and sign a notarized statement that I did it, but you can probably get a local for 200k. If you are really clever you can give him the 200k, get the statement, then somehow steal it back off him.

Exactly. Hopefully adanthar and the other involved people with inside information have withheld enough information that such an attempt will be shot down fairly easily.

If one were using GoToMyPC to remotely access a computer at Scott Tom's house, or anwhere else, actions performed by the remotely accessed PC would have the IP of that PC, not the PC initiating the GoToMyPC session.

[/ QUOTE ]

There would also be detailed logs that are created by GoToMyPC everytime a remote session is established through them.

Yeah if Scott makes a statement about modeling his life after his grandfather Tico I wouldn't be suprised at this point.

just odd how the bulk of this scheme seems to have been played out through Scott Tom's house, guess all his frat buddies get keys to the pad...lol, in my opinion, there is more than one guy involved, and probably the whole frat gang

seems to me like this upcoming statement may implicate Scott's best friend A.J., since they can't afford the originating owner/founder to be guilty, it's much easier to throw the best friend under the bus and take the entire blame

[/ QUOTE ]

He may have been hired for this from the beginning. His "legal" name change resulted from something negative...oh, internet website scams?

Edit: It may come in the 4th or 6th upcoming statement.

Okay, I just got off the phone with someone high up.

Two people will be implicated here, you can probably guess who. One is going to be removed from online poker forever and one is going be removed for a fair amount of time.

I was asked not to post specifics and that AP's statement is going to be detailed and is going to be released Sunday morning.

Why do I have pictures in my mind of board meetings in other small poker companies, when they are all going over these threads and thinking "remember our brilliant plan to cheat our customers? perhaps we should put it off".

Since I'm posting, I'd like to (cliché alert) thank all those working on this. I think this is one of those moments in history that will eventually wind up having many ramifications, and most I think will be positive for us. If only this had happened in classes discussing political philosophy where people would say "if there's no government, no one will bother to track criminals" ORLY?

PS. Don't go to Costa Rica.

Will AP ever address the fact that they have blatantly lied to everyone several times in an attempt to cover their own asses?

Re: AP thread 87.1 - waiting on the statement ITT

Could there be multiple wrongdoings/truths in this case ?

- The cover-up can't be denied and justifies by itself all the problems to come for them.
- But the initial cheating isn't obvious ? As well as the major chip-dumping in one session (like if the people who cheated were yelling : "hey ! in case you didn't notice the cheating, look at this chip-dumping !".
Connect this to the right-front rim of the jet (sept. 4th 2007) that was loose (?) during the take-off and you have a whole new history to dig...

It looks like a "Russian dolls" story, doesn't it ?

As for the Costa-Rican ISP that was used, probably that a few hundreds could buy the IP history for the incriminated periods of time.. ??

Edit: I guess that they offered/promised to pay for GA's audit on Absolute...and they passed gaming regulations last week, I think. So maybe 3rd official act. See Lori's sticky in Internet Gambling.

thanks for your work but considering that nobody regulates online poker how does Russ Hamilton remove someone from online poker and why is the other person only being removed for a time frame? Who says they won't have a shell of a shell company and again it'd be impossible to track who's at the top or if they move to another country and gaspp change their name?
