I hate the leave the bench rule. It can't just be an arbitrary policy. You have to review it and look at the circumstance.

Wow, Suns showed me a lot. I figured they were done for (who didn't) many times this game.

Now it's on the league to decide about Amare and Diaw...if so what a play by Horry, he'll have made another huge shot in the playoffs if they miss game 5.

17 years ago tomorrow (well, in less than an hour), or exactly half my age, the Phoenix Suns defeated the LA Lakers in Los Angeles to complete a stunning 4-1 series win. This despite the Lakers having the best record in the NBA, Magic winning the MVP, and Pat Riley winning the Coach of the Year. It was the best 17th birthday a Suns fan could hope for, and I still remember the headline in USA Today:

"SUNS SOLVE FORUM FRUSTRATION"

It was an epic upset for the Suns. Despite being a very good team they lost in every previous series to the Lakers, including being up 3-1 in the '70 playoffs (ultimately the Willis Reid playoffs). The Lakers just owned the Suns, had swept them the year before - despite the Suns having a better record that year - and there was no reason to think anything different would happen.

Disappointingly, the Suns went on to blow the WCF to an inferior Portland team (which in turn lost to Detroit), but man the city was on fire for a week or two. Seventeen years later I hope that happens again...

Amare was in 10 seconds before when they were on offense, then they went to defense and the coach put Thomas in. He has done this all playoffs long in close games. I'm not sure why you don't understand it.

The nba is my favorite sport/league, but this flopping is really [censored] the game up. I mean that call for Gordon is just ridiculous. The ball has been in the air for an entire second and he someone knicks after hes out of his shooting flow and he gets that call.
