E-mail I received:

Thank you for contacting PokerStars.

Echeck deposits can take 3-5 business days to clear. Considering this
is a
holiday weekend, you might not see this on your statement for a few
more
days, but nothing is unusual about this.

Good luck to you, and thank you for choosing PokerStars.

Hopefully something shows up by the end of the week.

If it doesn't work quickly when I deposit, then it probably will not work quickly when I withdraw. I just want an easy and fast method. I also want to make sure that they took the money from the correct account, so that I can feel confident that withdrawals will go to the correct account as well.

I deposited so I can withdraw with that method (see a few posts above in this thread).

I want the deposit to show up so I know my bank accepts the processor, etc. so I can withdraw using e-check back into my bank account.

Hello xxxxx,

You're unable to make an Echeck deposit at this time because your routing account number has been black listed with our Echeck processor. This was made in error and has affected a number of genuine customers. We have addressed the problem with our Echeck processor. They are working to fix this as soon as possible.

Please try to make an Echeck deposit again later or if you'd like to make a deposit right now I can suggest that you visit our web site to view our other available deposit options:

http://www.pokerstars.com/realmoney.html.

If you'd like to know more about another deposit option or you have any other questions, please email us again any time and we'll be happy to help you.

I now have a pending cashout with eChecks (it was approved immediately though which was nice). Then I received an email a day or two later that said the transfer has gone through but that it can take up to 7 business days to hit my bank account. This was on the 24th, so I'm not worried or anything, but if this blacklisted [censored] happens to me I'm gonna be pissed.

PokerStars Response:

Hello XXXXX,

I apologize for the misinformation you have received regarding the time
frames. The eCheck cash outs are to be credited to your bank account
within 3 to 5 business days of the date we release them. The oldest cash
out you requested was processed on August 25th on our end which means you
should already have the credit.

I will have our payments department look into this delay in order to
determine the status of your cash out.

Thank you for your patience.

This is [censored], looks like you and I are in the same boat.

The 3-5 days has passed for me as well (as you can see in my previous post). I also made another, larger withdrawal a few days after my first one (before the delay issue), which has now been "released" and therefore I cannot cancel it. It now has the same fate as my first cashout (this second one was more than twice as big).

They have been very, very fast in replying to my emails for sure (much less than 24 hours for each response), but of course, nothing of substance has occurred.

I just want my money.

Thank you for your email.

Please be advised that when you make a cashout request, it may take up to

She clearly didn't take the time to read through any of the previous emails that were referenced in my latest reponse (and which were attached to my email). Instead, she looks at the title and sends me this carbon copy reponse. Dumb [censored]. So I sent this back:

Marlene,

I am very well aware of this, please forward my email to Steven T or take the time to read the entire chain of emails.

It has been well over the allotted time (3-5 days) for my first transaction, and it should currently be under investigation as to what the cause of the delay is. I am well beyond the point of receiving prewritten answers to questions pertaining to my situation like the one you sent me.

I am being very understanding and patient, but I do not want my issue to get lost in a crowd of "standard cash out questions" because someone does not take time to properly take a look at what the issue is.

The support team has been very helpful so far, but I want to make sure my issue does not get shelved.

Thanks,

I'm still waiting for my deposit to hit my bank account. Today would be the third business day since my deposit on Friday afternoon. Hopefully it pops up by the weekend.

Also, has anyone succesfully received a withdrawl in their bank account through echeck? If not, I might just request a check and deposit it the old fashioned way.

Hello,

Please allow me to apologize for this delay.

We have been in constant contact with our ECheck processors to find out the reason why they were unable to debit and credit funds from our players' bank accounts.

We were informed yesterday, that they have located the source of this technical problem and are working around the clock to put all the transfers up to date. As you must understand, several transactions were affected and they have started to process them all.

However, the settlement with your bank should take 3-5 days to be completed. Debits or credits will be made in all players' bank accounts by then, and this time there should be no problems with your transactions.

We appreciate your patience and understanding on this matter and once again, I offer my apologies for any inconvenience.

[ QUOTE ]
Hello XXXX,
.
We have been advised that there has been a delay in completing some eCheck transactions however please be asured that they will be presented to your bank.
.
eChecks work the same way paper checks do. When you deposit using an eCheck, the amount of your deposit is requested from your bank just like when a paper check you've written is deposited. However, if the presenting of your eCheck is delayed, we ask for your patience.
.
eChecks usually clear within 7 calendar days however there may be a delay in completing these transactions so we ask that you make sure the funds are available until the transactions have been posted on your bank statement.
.
You do not have to wait for an eCheck to clear to receive your funds at PokerStars as long as your past deposits have cleared successfully. Funds deposited via eCheck are immediately available in your PokerStars account.

In my case, I had used it (or something similar) in the past, and it showed up with my prior acct info already there. I think they were rolling it out based on how many lifetime FPPs you had. That's how they've done these things in the past. So brand new accts wouldn't qualify until they've worked out all the kinks, and rolled it out to everyone.
