Dale Earnhardt Jr. Now that's street cred. And I love how they have Stuart Scott give the introduction, like he somehow "connects with the black audience." Smell the ratings.

God I hope this holds up just to make the Chicago fans here in Phoenix STFU. It's incredibly annoying to have so many fans rooting for the road team, and half of Phoenix is from Chicago. If it starts going their way in the second half the stadium could be just as loud.

Jay-Z's new song sucks.

But at least he had the good sense to steal the riff from "Back at the Hotel", an early 90s rap classic that is totally underrated.

Before opening kickoff, my fantasy team needed 7 points combined from Bernard Berrian + Rex Grossman to win tonight.

At the half, they now need 9.

I could have swore the Bears drafted Cedric Benson to gain those tough yards near the goalline.

Gregg Easterbrook just wrote the words "game over" in his notebook (FG attempt by Chicago midway through the 3rd quarter on 4th-and-goal from the 5 and down 20-0).

I thought this defence was really good. I guess their just good at home. This is embarrasingly bad especially on national TV.

they should have run plays assuming they'd go for it on 4th - kicking the field goal is terrible there

Of all the coaches in the NFL, 3 at most go for it there. That is a must kick, you need to put points on the board.

Re: CHI/ARZ Thread

The Bear defense hasn't played that bad so far. They had some poor tackling early and gave up massive YAC, but overall giving up 235 yards and "only" 23 points considering the offense giftwrapped 4 to's to arizona and allowed them to start inside their own territory 4 times and only come out with 13 points on those turnovers.

And they've scored the only Bears TD.

The Bear offense, on the other hand, has been horrid. Many, many, mucho mistakes.
