Content-based bannings and lockings and such are so much better than preemptive censorship
I agree that the attitude towards women around here sucks, but you're really attacking symptoms here, and not particularly telling or problematic ones, either, just seemingly random ones. Also the rule about posting a photo of a hotter chick you nailed is kind of weird. |

Ok, I'm new to this. But I've so many stories and such about all the drama that's gone on here.
Am I the only one that comes onto this site to find cool new stuff, links to funny things, talk about tv shows etc...??? This is just someplace I waste time. How people could get so upset about rules being made is beyond me. I can understand you were used to a way of something happening, but now it cant. Get over it. It's not the end of the world. Why is there so much crap. I've heard of people getting into disagreements and all this other crap. It's just so stupid to me. Perhaps I am the only one who thinks this? |

I agree with censorship in any of the other 2p2 forums, except OOT. We are filtered here to post the stupid, ignorant, immature posts that keep most of us entertained for hours on end at work.
If someone makes a stupid post, they get flamed and everyone has a good time doing the flaming. We should be able to post whatever is on our minds in this forum, no matter how stupid it is. You can draw the line on censorship for racism, but pics of girls? Really? This is the internet. OOT is pretty much the best place around here to execute our free speech right. OOT should continue to be a place where anything goes, with the line drawn at racism. With banning images of women that to most people would not even be considered inappropriate, is just overkill and will likely diminish the quality even further of OOT due to people being afraid of the banhammer. |
