Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?

a couple of years ago i purchased some rare cigars that were worth alot of money and had them insured from fire among other things. i smoked the cigars and after i finished i tried to sue the insurance company because my cigars caught on fire and were burned. they refused to pay and i took them to court. the judge ruled that i was entitled to $15,000 compensation from the insurance company because despite the fact that i had smoked my own cigars, they were in fact insured against fire. the insurance company paid the check immediately. shortly after cashing the check, the insurance company had 2 police officers come and arrest me for 24 counts of arson. i was convicted of intentionally burning insured property and was sentenced to a 24 month sentence but was let out after 6 months on parole. Stole a big street sign in the middle of the country while attacthed to the pole, while driving drunk, while my friend carried it laying down on the roof of my car. [/ QUOTE ] Some friends of mine stole one and tried to carry it home on foot. They saw a car about to stop so they placed the sign in its upright position and acted like they were leaning on it. It was a stop sign, and they were standing on a curb nowhere near an intersection. |

So i whip out my wallet and flash my 4 real twenties to him. I said "here, are these fake?" and he looks at all of them and says no. I go, "here" and I gave him 2 real twenties. "It's not the Crime"
-Tower of Power I broke the law last night, committed a criminal and sexual act She was on top and in this state That's an immediate pop And though I didn't get caught I know in my mind I committed no crime, still by some fluke I might be servin' time It's not the crime and it's not the thought It's not the deed, it's if you get caught I got some friends who like to stay high think of the tax potential if it were legal to buy but instead of the heat is forced to bust on victimless crimes it's a low-class bust worth nickels and dimes (repeat) think of all them powerful cats and how they got that way 'cause they surely would not be there without the payoff game that's played and think what you would do if it it was you that was in their shoes you'd either play the game or else you'd lose, bad news it's not whose sold, it's not whose bought and it's not the kickback, it's if you get caught |

[/ QUOTE ] Haha, once in high school me and my friends got into a toilet papering war with another guy (yeah, I'm so cool). One night we TP'd his house for like the 3rd time in like 5 weeks and he I guess just had his wisdom teeth taken out and his parents were royally pissed so they called the cops. We of course didn't know any of this, so after we did the job we drove around and picked up about 10 road signs from all over our community and we were going to put them on his lawn. We drive up and park on the corner of another street and pick up our signs and start to walk to his house, we turn the corner and see a cop car in the driveway and then him talking to the dad and son and we turn around and run into the car and drive away. We would have been so [censored] if they would have saw us. |
Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
I guess it's vandalism, but when we were kids, my friend and i used to go to the drugstore and use a stickpin to poke holes through all the boxes of condoms.

Some guy got charged with manslaughter for stealing a stop sign, because a guy ran the intersection where the sign should have been and tboned a car and someone was killed. You are potentially putting peoples lives at risk. You can make a weak argument than mine is the same, but it would be an uber weak comparison to make. (I wasnt kidding about the manslaughter thing either, I read about that in the paper) |
Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
[ QUOTE ]
I don't know how illegal this is, but it is a good story. A friend and I travel to Atlanta for Superbowl XXXIV to see our beloved Titans. We buy tickets from a scalper about 3 hours before the game, and when the gates open we try to go inside but are turned away because our tickets are counterfit. I am pissed! No way am I losing $500 and not getting to see the game. So I do the only thing I could think of, I sell the tickets to a St. Louis fan. So I am guilty of scalping (against the law in GA), which isn't a huge offense, but it is a good story. [/ QUOTE ] You're not guilty of scalping. You're guilty of fraud. And I don't care how much you lost by being suckered into buying the counterfeits -- selling them to another unsuspecting fan is just unconscionable. |

My biggest crime was one of the following:
Selling LSD. Stealing a CS grenade from a prison. Snorting coke within the confines of a prison, in the control picket to be exact. Yeah, one of those three. |
Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
got caught selling several pounds of weed, mushrooms, and opium. avioded jail because of a good lawyer.
didn't ever get caught for bookeeping, and of course stealing a couple of signs when drunk |

Re: Biggest crime you\'ve ever committed?
bought/smoked weed - drove drunk - speeding -
borrowed a firearm with the intent to do bodily harm to myself - cops actually handcuffed me on that one - technically I don't think any laws were broken but that was when I got in the most trouble. - couple days in the psycho ward against my will stole 20 bucks from a church offering plate - (that's probably a deadly sin - stealing from God) - |
