check the sticky. Also, you should go see a doctor. They might get you on a rehab program and have you stop squatting entirely.

yeah that might be a good idea, but i doubt i have done any real damage to my knee i think it is just strained.

ICE (ice, compression, elevation) it, lay off it for at least a week imo.
