dude, other sites have gone down because of cheating issues, you are just a noob and don't know anything about them

[/ QUOTE ]

Can you give me some reference then to these other sites that have gone down? Even if your claim is true, that was in the past and now a new precedent has been set by Absolute Poker, a precedent that online poker companies can get away with cheating their customers. (Or would you also still like to argue that it wasn't the company who cheated customers, just the owner, and still owner, of the company.)

That being said I would be all for a probably futile effort to put them out of business if it was clear they have retained their theives and were still trying to rob us. But it is not clear.

[/ QUOTE ]

Sure there is no evidence that the thieves are gone, but there is no evidence that the incompetency is gone either. Even if it's futile, can we really support a site who handled the worst scandal in online poker history as horribly as they did? To go back to your Wal-Mart analogy, I don't have to be robbed by a store in order to lose all trust and faith in them. They don't have to do much more than ignore or misunderstand clearly-presented evidence that some of their managers are stealing from customers.

Can you please name one employee whom has been fired by AP because of this scandal?

[/ QUOTE ]

Have you forgotten?

That horrible employee that released the HH file that finally gave proof of the cheating. You can't have employee's like that keeping your poker site honest!

Actually this fact is the most incriminating evidence that AP has no intent to be honest. If the people in charge of AP were glad to get rid of the cheaters then that employee would be hailed as a hero.

I'm sure the efficiency of the free market will get around to finishing off Absolute any day now. Otherwise we'll take this [censored] to an independent arbitrator, yeah!

I think its a good idea to revise your view of the situation everytime your previous version has been obliterated by logic and common sense.

This is the tact that AP uses for their press releases.

Can you please name one employee whom has been fired by AP because of this scandal? All of your posts seem confident that AP has taken action to improve their security, other than AP stating this is the case, what evidence do you have of this?

[/ QUOTE ]

I didn't revise anything. And I have no evidence that they have taken action to improve their security. But I'd bet on it.

Meanwhile it amazes me that people think my post was somehow pro AP. I doubt they think it was.
