Re: Home Fries or Hash Browns
Way too close to call, too many variables. Both are awesome.

Re: Home Fries or Hash Browns
Hash browns are often undercooked. In that case, home fries are better. Both properly cooked - I take hash browns.
Home fries are good though for mixing up with onions, bacon, cheese, scrambled eggs, and tabasco. |
Re: Home Fries or Hash Browns
Straight up it's hash browns. But it would be a Sophie's Choice between "scattered and covered" and HF with sawmill gravy.

Re: Home Fries or Hash Browns
Love both, but good home fries blow away any hash browns I've ever had.

Re: Home Fries or Hash Browns
I rarely eat breakfast in restaurants, and I seriously don't think I've EVER had the classic pile version of hash browns. I LOVE the solid fast food version- am I missing out? Is the restaurant version a lot better?
I'm also used to eating them with ketchup. They're amazing this way, but if there's something better, I'm open to suggestions. |
Re: Home Fries or Hash Browns
hash browns are nothing but grease sponges....and that is why they win.
