i think i would just bet/call the turn. if he is trapping with QQ-AA, well played him.

as played, i would call the river

checking behind on the turn is fine. but you absolutely have to call the river.

getting called by only better hands to stop someone from drawing to 6 outs is pretty useless, and ppl saying that if u call flop u cant fold turn/river dont make sense. ppl seem to think that its logical that if u call flop cause u think ur ahead of his range and if turn blanks u should still be ahead - when in fact when he fires flop his range is huge as a c-bet and when he fires turn or river, readless, its generally a stronger hand than jacks.

what's wrong with raising this flop?

IMO, if he's decent, this is gonna be a strong hand more often than a bluff, I think he was probably going for a check/shove on turn. I'd be fine with stacking off /w JJ at other points in the hand, and maybe even the river, but I think the way the hand played out it's a pretty unusual place for a bluff.

Maybe making some small stealish looking bet on turn could be good? Raising flop is probably alright as well?

this hand would be so much easier with hud stats on villain. really tough to give advice with no read. i'd probably bet turn vs. unknown and say nh if he had AA/KK/QQ.

I like the fold. Chances that he was check/ shoving on the turn are MUCH higher then the chance he is pushing the river with something like AK. If he checked behind the turn IP, it is a different story.

In retrospect, it looks like villain missed a check-shove on the turn.

With $78 in there and only $63 behind, I probably just shove the turn for value in game.
