I bet I drink more diet soda each day than anyone else fwiw imo and the key is to rotate every six cans between diet pepsi and diet dr pepper.

How the [censored] do you people drink diet sodas? Hot damn.

How do you not drink diet soda?

When it comes to the taste difference between the real thing and the healthy alternative, soda has one of the narrowest margins.

Real soda >> diet soda

but

real food >>>>>>>>>>>>&g t;>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>> "diet food"

So if you give me the choice between real coke and a lean cuisine or diet coke and a real sandwich, its not even close.

having real soda and a real sandwich isn't an option, because then i'd be a fat slop. seems to be fine for most of 2+2, but i'd prefer to not have to wash myself with a rag on a stick and deal with bed sores.

Noah,

I never said I drink any soda on a regular basis. I drink water > 90% of the time. That way, when I want a soda, I don't have to subject myself to the nasty taste of a "diet" (LOL) drink.

Why do you lol @ "diet"? It isn't good for you, but you're not be going to be getting fat on diet soda.

What does being good for you have to do with "diet"?

I'd rather have diet soda as a constant and regular caffeine pick me up rather than view regular soda as some dessert treat for special occasions.

ps- i am a hypocrite because i'm going to buy beer now for the pats/colts game and it likely won't be light beer.

I find it funny that people crave soda so much that they'll drink a nasty ass cola (which isn't even good for your body in the long run) instead of switching to water, juice, etc.

I never claimed "diet soda" was a misnomer.

I mean, you can do whatever you want. I've, fortunately, cut down on my caffeine/soda intake to the point where soda only needs to be an occasional thing. I used to drink a crap-ton of soda when I was a kid. It's a good thing I played sports year round or I'd probably be a Dids, pre weight loss.

Edit: I also probably dislike the taste of diet sodas/artificial sweetners more than the average person.

Diet Pepsi Max is the greatest soda every created.

Diet Pepsi used to be my preferred drink but is now barely tolerable after experiencing Diet Pepsi Max.
Years ago I preferred Coke or Diet Coke but now both taste like absolute crap to me.
