Oh Battlestar Galactica and 6-million dollar man was great too.

Charlies angels was alright. I preferred Cheryl Ladd to Farrah...

Alf was surprisingly decent. I'm surprised that character has vanished so completely. For something so well known, Alf's shelf-life was pretty short.

For me I grew up watching adult shows, and I'm sure a lot of the more sexually-oriented stuff went over my head:

Alf (first couple of seasons were hilarious)

Don't worry tuq, the sexual innuendos in Alf went over my head also:)

Oh yeah, you mentioned movies. I was lucky to have a TV with cable and HBO in my bedroom for part of my youth (heh, I don't even have that now, 20+ years later). There were a lot of early-mid 80s films that played seemingly continuously on there that I watched repeatedly. Off the top of my head:

The Cannonball Run
The Breakfast Club
No Way Out
War Games
Caddyshack
St. Elmo's Fire

I'm sure others will come to mind.

EDIT: Stand By Me
The Goonies

Good call on Anne of Green Gables and Ferris Bueller. I, too, watched them over and over. I feel like watching Anne of GG right now.

I do not remember Snorks. Funny name.
