how many of the fnal table particiapnts of these 24+ events are the same players who started the tournament?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think there will be more players who are different if it's two days.

i disagree. i think it's more of an exhaustion issue, than a "trying to lock up $$$" issue

2. Less of the crappy games. 5 card draw, stud games, O8
3. Start the tournaments 2 hours later. This might mess up the euros but having the tournaments during the work day screws the US players.

2. Umm... no. While 27TD is the most tilt-inducing thing I've ever played, there's only a 215 5CD, 215 27TD, and a 215 Razz, both of which had other events that day. There's also only one 7Stud, 7SHL, and OHL in limit and PL forms. All those games combined is 7 events. There are 8 NLHE events (3 Sunday multimillions, two 6-max, one rebuy, one HU, one shootout).
3. Hell yes.

i think tom mcevoy said on wcoop radio that it's kind of ridiculous that players have to play so exhausted given the large prize jumps that take place on the last two tables

i think for any of the huge field events, it'd make sense to just pause when it broke to the last two tables, break for like 12 hours or something, then continue playing

i don't see a downside

edit: also agree about starting them later so as not to screw US players. when the largest % of your entrants are US players, you gotta make some exceptions

2 day events would increase the excitement and prestige infinitely.

6 MAX limit event.

More starting chips in the limit event. We weren't deep enough.

Seems like the better players should want 1 day events for a couple of reasons.

1) The fish can't rest and will probably play worse than you will being really tired.

2) The fish won't have time to find someone else to play/buy their seat.
