This is definitely true.

However, we must also realize that his odds were also less than 100% for the 7.

I'd say someone showing that much interest you might have a 60-70% chance of closing that night, and probably a 80-90% chance of closing in the next week or two.

What you fail to realize is that the best chance you have of roping in the 10 is to ingnore her the moment the 7 comes back into the room.

2+ months slump = go with the 7, easy. I would also make the point that dating/sleeping with 10's is often overrated. They're usually total pains in the ass and suck in bed from a lifetime of not having to try at all.

Also, I think if you have a good conversation with the 10 and then leave with the 7, you make yourself more attractive to the 10. She starts thinking, "Why did he go for my friend instead of me, he doesn't like me, I'd better get to know him better" etc.

This is an excellent point. I think after already making out with the 7 you look pretty slimey to her friend if you don't go back to the 7 immediately also. There's nothing wrong with what you did, but these girls are friends. What did you expect to happen?

i voted go for the 10 cuz thats what i would do cuz im a dreamer like that but...given the circumstances, i think the right play, like most, is the 7.

u give up on the 7 and chase the 10 if you're not in dubai and may actually have a chance long term but you got a few more days in the country and a great chance at a 7. if your 7 is anywhere near my 7, i'd say that was the way to go.

This is so far the right answer that I can't believe it took this long for it to show up, with all the PUAs here.

You go back to the 7 because:

(1) the 10 will get jealous that you are interested in her friend;

(2) the 10 will become more interested because you seem to seem to be spurning her, unlike every other guy;

(3) you could wind up banging both of them -- the 7 that night and the 10 before you head home; and

(4) worst case scenario is guaranteed bangage with the 7 that night.
