Not giving out HP totals fixes most of the roleclaiming. The mystic was a HUGE HUGE HUGE bonus for the village and could probably just be removed. Ranger might be okay with tweaking but really the village doesn't need extra partial seers at all. You could probably restore the various HP values of the barbarian even if you wanted to.

Monster team should get HP status updates, however. They need all the help they can get.

Knight and Shadow Knight should start with 90 or 120 HP, to be in line with the other HP changes. This means that at 90 they die in one monster attack, and at 120 they die from 1 main attack + 1/3 attack.

man this might be good with no HP reveals.

I loved these games, but, to quote others above, something really really REALLY needs to be done to prevent massive village roleclaiming.

A lot will depend on how you make your skeleton party. Another helpful tweak would be to tell the evils (but not the good guys) on how much of each role there are, so they can better plan fake role-claims.

I think eliminating the village's knowledge of HP points would help lots too.

Although how does the doctor know who to protect? Or is someone that should be taken out as well?

Give evils role-guess. If they correctly guess someone's role, they get to co-opt the damage that person is able to inflict or the action they are able to take.

edit: personally, I would prefer this to not knowing my HP total each day.

It would be tough playing over the weekend. Nights aren't as big of a deal as you could PM me before nightfall during the day with proxy settings, but ya, for this game it's pretty important to have some sort of CPU access overnight.
