I think the game will start this friday around 2 pm eastern. Try to be there right at that time if you can, cause some of you are very clever, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was solved in under half an hour.

Then again, a lot of the answers don't have many crossing letters, so it may end up being pretty difficult. We'll see how it goes.

i'll likely not be around on friday as my brother-in-law is returning from a summer in china and wants to be fed roast beef asap. I'll clean up saturday morning uk time if you chumps haven't finished it by then.

I didn't know that you had these things in the US, but they're very common in the uk - all the broadsheet daily papers have one every day and so most days of the week i spend 30 minutes or so playing around with a puzzle in the evening.

In the meantime, I’ll just spam the thread with clues…
