Of course there are always unique situations that may come up, but I think overall you cannot put a person on a tight enough range to fold any hand you were willing to 4bet when getting ~2-1 on your money preflop.

That was my original point that I was asked to explain. In general, a hand you will normally 4-bet should not be folded preflop.

pokerishard- Against light 3-bettors, you can profitably re-raise with premium hands and junk hands, folding the junk to a push.

Why so down on Cutler? He's a natural leader who moves really well and has a strong but not overpowering throwing arm. He won't put up shocking fantasy numbers, but he should win a good number of games. IMHO, the comparison to a young Brett Farvre is pretty accurate (had Vandy tickets while he was in college, so have seen him play a lot).


Also, I've never 4bet in my life with the intention of folding if shoved on. Guess I should put that in the arsenal. Do people pretty much either shove or fold to a 4bet?

jay cutler is gonna b tha man this year. i am soooo stoked for tha nfl year to b under way. the broncos have the makings of being a great team. too bad their r like 3 or 4 other teams that could vary well b amazingly good too. so who knows. i expect a ton of good games tho for sure.
