Help me out. I don't see how you get here:

I know for a FACT, 100%, that this dealer is cheating.

From here:

[ QUOTE ]
Once, while involved in a big pot with him, I made a big bet on the river, after long contemplation he folded, I mucked, then while gathering up the cards to reshuffle, he glimpsed my cards (KK).

[/ QUOTE ]

He cheats because he glimpses the mucked cowboys?

And has no one else connected the lines between break, seat 3, and the cooler?

How is the dealer gripping the cards? If he is using a "mechanic's grip" then most likely it is to control the deal. There's really no reason to ever hold the deck in this way other than to stack the deck, or deal from the bottom.

Lots of good advice. I'd vote for mandatory cuts if the dealer is playing. If they ask why, tell them. If they don't agree to it, don't play.

QFT

95% of all the cheating questions in this forum can be solved by just cutting the cards before the deal.

Re: Caught Cheating--What to do?

1) Very simple solution. Play elsewhere. If this is a raked game for mid level stakes with what you perceive to be cheating going on, you have plenty of reasons to find a different venue.

2) Calling someone out will result in the game going down in flames and/or you being thrown out of it. Probably not the best solution. As for getting physical, this is simply idiotic and shouldn't be considered as a possible remedy.

3) I hear the same thing all the timne about home and underground games. Such and such guy is cheating, doing XYZ with the cards, etc etc etc. Almost always unfounded. I spent the better part of three years dealing both the underground scene, and in professional settings, and believe me, it's next to impossible to cheat utilizing a deck. Very, very few people are able to do this with any efficiency, yet everyone claims that the guy at their game is doing it. It is much more likely that you simply have a shady looking guy who wanted to confirm for himself what you held one hand. i wouldn't make a big deal over it.

I like the idea of sitting in the 3 seat and folding on the flop with the nuts (nuts at the time, because obviously if the dealer is cheating he'll turn or river a better hand) and see what his reaction is. If he's stunned reach over the table and punch him in the mouth.

I'm going to combine a few ideas with one of my own. First, type and print out what you think will happen the first hand after the break. Have this in your pocket. Then, shove PF. This will probably prevent him from playing the hand, but if he calls and sucks out you can pull out the paper with you theory typed on it and ask him if it's just a wierd coincidence that it keeps happening.

I love the shove aspect of this.
