PokerStars CSR
Self-Employed

[/ QUOTE ]

These 2 demand elaboration, the masses need to know. Was PokerStars CSR a juicy insider job where you learned all sorts of dirt on the boom and doom switching of people like me? Or just totally boring and sucky?

Also, I remember reading that you have employees who make like 6 figures. The step from PokerStars CSR to being loaded is the one I'm gunning for lol.

[/ QUOTE ]

The PokerStars CSR position was pretty interesting, I worked on the collusion team (with Sciolist) and answered all the bad beat emails that people wrote in about. I also did regular CSR stuff, and started working with the bot team right before I quit to form my own startup. Sometimes the job was boring, but working from home was great.

We only have one employee who makes six figures, and he earns every last dollar of his paycheck, trust me. As for being loaded, I'll say this: The guy making six figures has a higher salary than I do at the moment.

mbille,

It was a summer job after my freshman year at college. Most of the summer it pretty much involved stacking pallets of 60lb bags of corn, using a forklift to move the pallet, and then restacking the bags of corn. It sucked pretty hard, but at least for a few weeks of the summer I was in charge of a detasling crew (I really doubt anyone who doesn't live in the midwest knows what this is). During that time at least I was outside in the corn fields.

[/ QUOTE ]

I live in Iowa and know detasling makes bank, but what did you get paid as a crew leader? I've heard of people doing it now and making $23 an hour. That's sick.
