You download the youtube / google vide .flv file: www.videodl.org

Then you convert it to mpg with the free riva flv encoder: http://www.rivavx.com/index.php?encoder&L=3

Then you use Gimp (www.gimp.org, windows installer: http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/) 'Xtns --> Split video into frames' to extract from the video. Create a single multi layered image. Save as .xcf . Reduce canvas to some quadratic size _without_ width and height being linked. Scale image to 80x80. Save as gif.

YOU R AN IMPOSTER AND YOU DON'T EVEN DO IT RIGHT!

Avatars need to be of size 80px x 80px. Everything else will look crappy. You make it even worse by making them 80px x 60px so have to be scaled UP. This looks so [censored].

Also I guess you don't pot 'F OOT' in the meta data.
