Bahama Mama recipe


Ingredients
Scale ingredients to servings

1/4 oz coffee liqueur
1/2 oz dark rum
1/2 oz coconut liqueur
1/4 oz 151 proof rum
juice of 1/2 lemons
4 oz pineapple juice


Combine all ingredients and pour over cracked ice in a collins glass. Decorate with a strawberry or cherry and serve.



Ok, so far it's the Bahama Mama leading the Lava Flow by just a bit.

A couple recipes:

Original
1 oz vodka
1/4 oz grenadine syrup
1 oz gin
1 oz light rum
1/2 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
1 oz amaretto almond liqueur
1 oz triple sec
grapefruit juice
pineapple juice

Pour all but the juices, in order listed, into a hurricane glass three-quarters filled with ice. Fill with equal parts of grapefruit and pineapple juice, and serve.

New Orleans Style

1 oz white rum
1 oz Jamaican dark rum
1 oz Bacardi® 151 rum
3 oz orange juice
3 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
crushed ice

Combine all ingredients, mix well (shake or stir). Pour over crushed ice in hurricane glass. Best enjoyed through a small straw. Garnish with fruit wedge if desired.

EDIT: fruity but potent, esp. if made with 151 as specified. I also enjoy Mai Tais and pina coladas on rare occasions. If they make fruity margaritas, maybe you could try one of those too.

The Aqua Velva

Vodka (0.75 oz. / 2.3 cl)
Gin (0.75 oz. / 2.3 cl)
BOLS Blue (0.5 oz. / 1.5 cl)
Sprite (0.5 oz. / 1.5 cl)
Sprite (0.25 oz. / 8 m

Goombay Smash

1 oz spiced rum
1 oz Malibu® coconut rum
1/4 oz apricot brandy
2 oz pineapple juice
2 oz orange juice

Mix all ingredients in a highball glass with ice and shake. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.

Excuse me? Excuse me, senor? May I speak to you please? I asked for a mai tai, and they brought me a pina colada, and I said no salt, NO salt for the margarita, but it had salt on it, big grains of salt, floating in the glass...

And yes, I won't be leaving a tip, 'cause I could... I could shut this whole resort down. Sir? I'll take my traveler's checks to a competing resort. I could write a letter to your board of tourism and I could have this place condemned. I could put... I could put... strychnine in the guacamole. There was salt on the glass, BIG grains of salt.
