OK are the PartyPoints we've earnt before the promotion still valued at only 1c each? Is there any chance that can we trade all our points at the higher value if we hit a weekly target?

Sorry to ask a silly question but I have 20k points in my account that I'd like to cash in right now, but adds up to an extra $1100 if they're tradable at the higher rate.

Thanks

Re: Party Poker VIP: The High Roller

Am I the only one who never understands a single goddam thing about ANY poker promotion?

For example, I am not a VIP, got no email about this, but appear to be getting the High Roller promotion anyway. So I follow the HR link on my a/c page, and it says this:

"There's more: Our VIPs can redeem their PartyPoints for cash from February 27 through April 9..."

If that's so, how come non-VIPs like me seem to be part of the promotion? Why do they make this so bloody confusing?

Edit to delete question I asked: PP pay the momey directly into a/c weekly.

Do we still get rakeback at the same rate?

I'm wondering if deductions from MGR will go through the roof? Really not sure.

Related to deductions, I also notice that there is an option to opt out of the HR promotion, so it would be really good to know whether doing that is the most EV thing to do.

........

Dukey - oh...maybe so. Seriously, I'm clueless about a lot of stuff.

I think it is open to non-VIPs as you can become a VIP by playing a lot of hands, which of course will tie you in line with the promotion being offered. Or something else that makes sense...

To become party vip, you need to have earn 10.000 partypoints in 3 months period or something like that.

Just checked the leader board (I'm in the 50's) the [censored] in 1st has ~68000 points. Total BS. It is OBVIOUS him and friends are sharing a computer (the only was to get that is playing 9-12 tables for 24 hours per day for this whole promotion.

lol, some of these people in the leaderboard are [censored] terrble players. A few of my buddies are in the top 50. I feel bad for them if they actually play enough to do it.
