Re: Feeling sad after drinking heavily for a day or two

Friday night I drank, but I don't remember drinking very much, but soemthign strange happened and I blacked out. Apparently I was completely cohesive and making perfect sense, not stumbling or doing all the things 'black out drunk' people do.

The next day I was told of some of my adventures, but I didn't recall many of them.

On sunday, I was just stupid. I tried to call my girlfriend, I couldn't remember her phone number, I tried dialing like 3 different numbers, and ended up dialing my own. I can remember it perfectly fine now, but sunday i was having a heavy dose of stupid.

I was also completely out of it well into monday.

Blinden, this is pretty standard after a blackout night imo

OP, I find that the day after whatever emotions I'm having just become stronger. If I'm with a few good friends talking about what happened the night before I have the same thing happen that guids described of being sorta on your game and laughing a lot. If things didn't go so well the night before, or if I have a lot on my mind it can strengthen that too.

I think it is a combination of things:

You have to go to work/school tomorrow.
Friday is 5 days away.
You feel guilty about treating your body like [censored]/acting like an idiot/not being productive at all for 2 days etc.
