I've had sex with more women than you ever will (sorry, you need to man up), so I know a little something.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO ASK HER.

What sounds better? The needy "WIll you go out with me?" which allows her to realize it's a date and say no, or the non-needy "I'm going to ______, you should come." ?

The 2nd one allows her to hang out with you without it being a date. All you want to do is hang out, regardless, yes? Spend time with her? Good, then do what I said. If you ask her and she says no, she has the control. If you act like you're already going, and will go without her, she'll see that you have some social value.

This isn't hard.
