One of the few word-play jokes I actually laughed at instead of groaned. Very nice.

1) Ring like that + purse you posted makes no sense.
2) From what I remember in pogchat I feel like you're from a semi-conservative family but might be wrong there due to your comment on the last girl in the hot/not rating game. Overall I'd say that comment is somewhat "inner rebel" so I'm not sure
3) The reason why you could wear a ring like that is of course that you seem to be a highly individual/non mainstream kind of person (mainly tone read + chaos mug). However this is offset by #1
4) I have yet to meet a person that I would classify as "somewhat geeky" that wears a ring like that
5) The majority of women would not wear a ring like that so it's really just playin the %s

tl;dr Soalread

Re: 2 and 3

2. Well, not really...but kinda. My parents were 60s hippies going to college in Berkeley who grew up and became nice suburbanites where Mom stayed at home for the most part and Dad went to work in a tie every day and is now Somebody. Mom got her 2nd Masters when my brother entered junior high and is now an elementary school counselor working with inner city kids. They're still pretty liberal though (and that description is pretty one-dimensional and not altogether fair, but it will do.)

Case in point: when I turned 15, it was at the height of the AIDS scare in this country, and Dad bought an enormous assortment of condoms and put them in the linen closet in big box. He then told my brother and me that he didn't know how many were there and didn't want to but that we should take anything we wanted if we were even thinking about having sex.

3. I think you just implied my purse made me a lemming. Bite me!
