Re: c bet? i don\'t but just want to hear from you
Trying to put early round donks on a hand is difficult. In this situation, with a call of your raise Pre flop, he could have almost anything. But I'm guessing the most likely scenarios are:
Ace Rag Small Pocket pair Some suited connector Most bad players without an Ace will play scared. Most bad players with Ace rag here take it all the way. So a C bet here doesn't really accomplish much. If it's checked to the turn, you are probably ahead. If the villain bets the flop hard you are probably behind. Later on, when the players are more likley to react logically..I would often make a C bet. Here...I'm with Ham. |
Re: c bet? i don\'t but just want to hear from you
(grunch) Assuming there are no definitive reads yet, I would be willing to C-Bet here, representing the A. I will adjust the hand based on the Villains' reactions.
I cannot fault a conservative approach here, though. It is early in the tourney. You have not committed much of your stack here, and there could be an A out there. Letting it go would be prudent. I'm just not one of them yet (leak?). |
