[censored] matt holliday in the eye, how about that

give it to someone from the NL east, they play below sea level unlike those bible thumping thin air breathing [censored] jousters

put that in your humidor and preserve it for your future smoking pleasure

I think Holliday should probably win it, but it will go to Rollins since he is from a major sports market and the East Coast.

Re: who wins the NL MVP?

Rollins winning it would be a complete joke...Holliday is by far the MVP this year.

Re: who wins the NL MVP?

9 runs of VORP and great defense in LF, while Rollins was average defensively.

Re: who wins the NL MVP?

srsly there are 8 players with a higher VORP than Rollins, and Rollins doesnt make up for it with his average D.

I wasn't arguing that Rollins should win. If I had to vote, I think I'd go:

1. Pujols
2. Wright
3. Holliday
4. Utley

And saying Rollins is average and Holliday is "great" isn't really fair. It would be more accurate to say Holliday is above average and Rollins is average or slightly better.

Re: who wins the NL MVP?

Ive seen Holliday as a top two defensive LF in most metrics. I honestly don't think Rollins is top five, and looking at your top four it looks like we somewhat agree.

However, the media has turned this into a two man race. Of those two, Holliday has to get it.
